The first results of the working group efforts will be published before the end of this summer.

For reference purposes:
Within the framework of the Russian Regional National Investment Climate Index, Agency for Strategic Initiatives and Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTSIOM) were conducted assessments of the business climate in several key areas:
Regulatory environment (efficiency of company registration procedures, obtaining various business permits and licenses);
Institutional environment (effectiveness of institutions ensuring the security of the business, pressure on businesses and quality of information support);
Accessibility of resources and quality of infrastructure;
Effectiveness of small business support (financial and non-financial).
National Investment Climate Index is based on a comprehensive assessment of the region (data of official statistics, business and experts’ surveys), which makes it objective from the perspective of the business community, as well as useful for the development of executive decisions on the regional and federal authority level.
