Training workshop entitled “Fourth school of the regional investment standard” was held in AST on February 18, 2014.
“On February 18, 2014 the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in Moscow hosted a training seminar for the Central, North-Western, Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts entitled “Fourth school of the regional investment standard”, which was attended by the Deputy Governor of the Murmansk region Mr. Stratiy G.I. and staff members of the Committee for Development of Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Murmansk region.
The workshop summed up the results of the implementation of the Standard in 2013, presented the best practices of the fulfillment of the requirements of each 15 sections of the Standard, and reviewed proposals for monitoring of the Standard implementation in 2014. Investment portal of the regions of Russia (www.investinregion.ru) was presented there as well.
Particular attention was paid to the pilot project execution, which introduces implementation of the National rating of investment climate conditions in the Subjects of the Russian Federation, and which aims are the following: identifying the best practices in attracting investments to the region, assessment of the conditions for doing business in the region, motivating regional authorities for improving the quality of the business environment”.

From January 1, 2019, amendments to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation come into force, giving employers the right to take into account the costs of tourist vouchers for Russia for employees when calculating income tax.
n addition, in the course of full-time training modules, the problems of interdepartmental cooperation between state and municipal authorities in initiating and developing projects in the field of PPP were discussed, as well as program participants familiarized themselves with the practical aspects of financial structuring and developing a financial model of the project, features of competitive selection of private partners, post- competitive negotiations, tax and budgetary aspects on the example of concession agreements and PPP agreements. In addition, participants familiarized themselves with the methods of evaluating the effectiveness and justifying the comparative advantage.
