The Standard of the activities of the local authorities of the municipal and city districts of the Murmansk region for ensuring a favorable investment climate on municipal entity territory is adopted
The Order of the Government of the Murmansk region dated 15.08.2014 № 200-РП approved the Standard of the activities of the local authorities of the municipal and city districts of the Murmansk region for ensuring a favorable investment climate on municipal entity territory (hereinafter – the Standard 2.0)
The Standard 2.0 is developed in accordance with the requirements of the Standard of the activities of the executive authorities of the Russian Federation for ensuring a favorable investment climate in the regions, prepared by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for promoting new projects in partnership with All-Russia Public Organization “Delovaya Rossia” (Business Russia) considering specificities of the process implemented on municipal entities level.
Implementing the Standard 2.0 in the municipal entities of the Murmansk region will allow to form the system for investors’ support and entrepreneurship development on municipal level, as well as regulate the order of interaction between local authority bodies, state authorities of the Murmansk region, federal authorities and investors in area of attracting investments.
The city of Murmansk, Monchegorsk and Kolsky district are identified as pilot municipal entities on applying the Standard 2.0. The rest of the municipal and city districts of the Murmansk region will join the implementation of the said initiative in 2015.

The governor of the Murmansk region
Today, the Governor Marina Kovtun held a meeting of the Council on improving the investment climate in the Murmansk Region. The Head of the region recalled that in the National Investment Climate Rating for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2016, the Murmansk Region rose by 20 points, improving its position to the 32nd place. For the third consecutive year, the region is included in the third group of regions, confirming the status of the region with favorable conditions for business development.
On June 23, 2017, in the Kolenergo Central electrical networks (2A Festivalnaya Street, the town of Apatity, the Murmansk Region), the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Murmansk Region (Regional Association of Employers) will meet with representatives of the business community of the municipal entities of the town of Apatity and the town of Kirovsk.
