Innovators from the Murmansk region introduce their projects at all-Russian Start-up round stage in Sankt-Petersburg.
March 25 - 26 of 2015 all-Russian start-up round stage was in St. Petersburg. Over 600 participants from North-West Russian regions took part at the event: young entrepreneurs and scientists from Leningrad, Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Pskov, Tver Oblasts (regions), Nenets Autonomous Okrug (District) and Republic of Karelia. On the first day for the participants gathered there was a package of events organized by “Skolkovo” Fund supported by Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations (FANO) and Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech). In the framework of the all-Russian start-up round master-classes took place: a master-class by Pekka Viljakainen, adviser to the president of “Skolkovo” Fund, “Winners team – a key to success on the international market”, a master-class by A.Mukhametova, Chief Executive of iDealMachine, on “How to check consumers demand of your idea without big investments in the development”. Oleg Barannik, Chief Marketing Director of Startbase.Ru, led a master-class on ideas commercialization techniques. Within the framework of presentation “Technological start-ups: be afraid of crisis or scale up sales?” M.Kochalina, Projects Director of “Berner&Stafford” consulting agency, spoke about tools of innovative technologies advancement. On the second day of the event a contest of pitch-presentations of innovative start-ups was held. At the event the Murmansk region was presented by 11 participants out of a number of young scientists of Kola Scientific Center of RAN (Russian Academy of Science), residents of business-incubator and It-center “Futurama”. 4 of them became finalists of the pre-qualification contest and presented their innovative projects in the framework of the pitch-presentations contest: In the line of “Energy Efficiency technologies”: - Shulyak Diana Valerievna – project “Water purification solid coagulant process planning”; - Kovalevsky Mikhail Vasilievich - project “Acoustpol complex to evaluate quality of solid dissimilar materials”.In the line of “New industrial materials and technologies”:- Potokin Alexander Sergeevich – project “Designing of low-power mobile desintegrant unit for electric impulse fragmentation of deposits”;- Bayurova Yulia Leonidovna – project “Organo-mineral sorbent of non-ferrous metals technology process based on mining waste for discharge and natural water treatment from non-ferrous metals”.In the mentoring session all participants of start-up round had a chance to be individually consulted on issues of their projects further developing together with experts of “Skolkovo” Fund, business-incubator “Ingria”, Fund for Promotion of Small Businesses Development in the Area of Science and Technology.
