Full scale implementation of the Standard 2.0 in the territory of the Murmansk region
February, 10, 2015 the Committee for Development of Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Murmansk region held a working session with representatives of local authorities of the Municipal entities on implementation of the Standard of activities of local authorities of the municipal entities and city districts of the Murmansk region on ensuring a favorable investment climate in the territory of the municipal entity (herein after – the Standard 2.0, municipal standard). During the meeting they discussed particular provisions of the municipal standard, Standard 2.0 “road map”, as well as peculiarities of forming and operating of expert groups for monitoring the implementation of the Standard 2.0. According to the protocol resolution the work on forming the expert groups for monitoring the implementation of the Standard 2.0, as well as the development of the Standard 2.0 “road map” will be completed within month in the eight municipal entities, and the local authorities of the municipal entities and city districts will proceed directly to the implementation of the Standard 2.0 provisions. As a reminder, the pilot testing of the Standard 2.0, aimed at improving the investment climate in the municipalities, successfully started last year. At the present time in the municipal entity city of Murmansk the Standard 2.0. is fully implemented, in the municipal entities of town Monchegorsk and Pechengsky district nine sections of the Standard 2.0 have been implemented, in the municipal entity of Kolsky district seven out of ten sections of the Standard 2.0 have been implemented.
The governor of the Murmansk region
Today, the Governor Marina Kovtun held a meeting of the Council on improving the investment climate in the Murmansk Region. The Head of the region recalled that in the National Investment Climate Rating for the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2016, the Murmansk Region rose by 20 points, improving its position to the 32nd place. For the third consecutive year, the region is included in the third group of regions, confirming the status of the region with favorable conditions for business development.
On June 23, 2017, in the Kolenergo Central electrical networks (2A Festivalnaya Street, the town of Apatity, the Murmansk Region), the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Murmansk Region (Regional Association of Employers) will meet with representatives of the business community of the municipal entities of the town of Apatity and the town of Kirovsk.
